Winwood Decksters and a spare SPuD cleat will give your double sided pedals, that are not Shimano,
a Platform side you can remove when you need thje double sided function, again.\
but the big surrounding frame , like CB Mallet and s similar from Time,
also lets you use the soft soled running shoes ,
just the sponge in the midsole absorbs what cleat may stick up.
I have a Pedal Wrench, I just change pedals.
