I solicit (and receive) free bikes through CL. Then I tune them up and give them away - also through CL - or if no takers, the local Boys and Girls club. I get mostly Xmart BSOs. But recently I got two Shim 600 Arabesque-equipped Ross Super Gran Tour Professionals.

They are not especially "Gran" or "Super" or even a little bit "Professional" but the one in my size was interesting enough to me that I offered the donor $50 for it, suggesting I might actually keep it. The donor said "Just take it."
