Road racing isn't exactly a social activity. Its a competitive sport that requires understanding and exploiting weaknesses in other racers and a single minded obsession to win at all costs. Its probably not surprising that fans or wannabes reflect at least some of the same character traits.

But even on a hybrid I still see some of that in other cyclists. And a wave means what exactly? There's no sacred bicycling britherhood. The majority of cyclists would jump at the chance to buy stolen bicycle parts if the price was right and there was no chance of getting caught. CL certainly proves that. You really think that stolen bike of yours ended up in the hands of a non-cyclist?

I kinda stick with people I know a bit more about than that they ride a bike.
