I'm not surprised that there are people out there who wave at everyone, but I'm continually amazed how many of those people EXPECT perfect strangers to wave back as if they were best buds. I generally DON'T wave at someone unless I know them, and being on a bicycle does not automatically place them in my inner circle of friends, anymore than if they drove the same model of truck as me.
