over lunch i went on a hunt (to the only LBS here in the city within walking distance) to try to find a 3.2.

the shop dude told me that while the 3 (he had never heard of the 3.2) was good if i wanted to be sure i could tackle ANY chain i should get the ct-7.

and since he just happened to have one back in the repair shop they barely ever used he gave me a deal on it.

i woulda liked one chain tool that does it all but having this for the 1/8" chains and my standard tool for puny little narrower chains seemed like a good compromise.

after hefting it and seeing it's quality vs the tool i currently have i will probably replace the current cheapo with a 3.2 when i get an opportunity but until then i can just use el cheapo for my other chain breaking needs.

thanks for the help!
