I recently became a member of "the steel club" after my carbon fiber frame died in a "stuck-seat-post-removal-gone-bad-exercise." Fortunately, my nephew who had taken my 1985 Trek 400 many years ago still had it and wasn't riding. So I am reunited with my very first real road bike. I swapped over some components from the broken bike. You can gauge from the stem that the headtube is too short, but it's been neat riding my old bike around.
