Thanks for that help, Coach. I took a good look and the spring surface looks smooth to the naked eye. I've had the tool a few years, but it hasn't gotten pro level use, of course. I have just emailed Park for a quotation on calibrating the tool.
Your take on the sound app will be very interesting. I have to say, it is awfully easy to use, at least on the radial spokes.
