Guys, I thought I would receive notifications if anyone responded. Sorry to leave you hanging like that, but I thought my post was overlooked. Anyways, I wish I had checked back to see that the bike is in fact 3 years older than he said. I took a look at the bike yesterday and took it for a ride. Parts looked clean, shifting was smooth, and my crotch barely cleared the top tube with my feet flat on the ground so I pulled the trigger. I know bikes deppreciate, but I saw the MSRP was around $1800, so I thought $750 was reasonable. Plus I read some article praising CAADs for holding their value.
Also, I was going off of this chart as a baseline for sizing..
http://bicycling.about.com/od/howtor...ike_sizing.htm. The seller was 5'10" with the same size inseam as me, so I thought the frame size was OK. From your responses it sounds like I may have bought big. I'll put some miles on it and see how it feels. If it is too big then I'm sure I can find someone out there who will buy for close to what I paid. I'll chalk it up to my beginner's learning curve.
Thanks for your opinions.
