As for the brakes thats totaly up to you. How much more are they at the lbs then online? Does the free installation and support justify the higher price to you, or would you mind installing and setting them up yourself? I am still working out the details, but I may just buy the bike, non-d version and then updgrade later, I suppose I don't need them right away.
