OP: Just cut a short piece of V-brake noodle (our thin wall tube available many places)...say 3/4" long and insert both ends of the house in half way. Probably best to put a 1 1/2" piece of 1/4" heat shrink tube over it all touch it off with your butane lighter.
You didn't give up any clues as to what you were trying to achieve. Can you illuminate?
