Wheeler Bikes

Hopefully some of you have heard of this brand and can shed some light on it for me. I can't find any info on the web other than it appears the name was bought out at some point.

I went to our local bike co-op last night and saw this bike. Had to have it... bought it. I paid $120 for it because its crazy clean. Is it worth it... I don't know, but I feel I got a fair shake and helped the co-op regardless.

This bike appears to have been sitting in a basement for the last 20 years. Its spotless. I am having trouble loading all the pics of components, but for now, here are the specs and a full bike shot.

The bike: Wheeler Crossline 3000
Frame: Cr-Mo (front and rear rack mounts)
Tires: 700c x 42c (Wheeler brand, still with new tire tabs on tread)
Wheels: 700c - 36 spoke
Gears: 3/7
Flatbar and grips (Wheeler brand)
All components match: Shimano Altus C10 shifters, Altus C10 derailures, Altus C10 crank, Altus C10 brake levers

It rides incredible, shifts smooth and is very light and quick.

Anyway, I am pleased with it and will give it to my son. Any info you have would be appreciated though.
