Pedals and straps/clips make a huge difference on a bike as well, also to me its an additional safety feature, I've cut my legs from slipping off my pedals. From there I'd say determine what you want to change next, if you like your saddle and it doesnt cause any discomfort, dont change it yet. I've also noticed bars make a huge difference, for me my old drops caused horrible upper back/shoulder pain after extended rides, but now with bullhorns its much more comfortable. Basically just ask yourself what can you live with at the moment and what can you not live with. That will help the process of choosing to be much easier.
