New bike!
So I just started getting into the whole fixed gear biking and just biking in general, and since I live in Florida and since it's relatively flat everywhere I thought it would be a nice change. I had a friend who wanted to sell his bike and I got a pretty great deal rides pretty smooth (except over really bumpy road but i expected that) but I wanna know what I can do to make it better. I already got plans to get new brakes, maybe handle bar, and get some straps/cages. But you guys help me out cus I'm not sure what would work with this bike and to be honest I'm feeling kinda clueless lol so help would be AWESOME right now

Pedals and straps/clips make a huge difference on a bike as well, also to me its an additional safety feature, I've cut my legs from slipping off my pedals. From there I'd say determine what you want to change next, if you like your saddle and it doesnt cause any discomfort, dont change it yet. I've also noticed bars make a huge difference, for me my old drops caused horrible upper back/shoulder pain after extended rides, but now with bullhorns its much more comfortable. Basically just ask yourself what can you live with at the moment and what can you not live with. That will help the process of choosing to be much easier.

About saddles, do you have anything in specific? I have about a 10-15 mile commute each day (to school then either the gym my house or a friends house) and I often find myself shifting around to get more blood flow to the down stairs area haha. I'm getting a job this summer so money wont really be a problem although I prefer not to get something to pricey. It doesn't have to be "SOOPER AERO" or anything like that lol, just something comfortable and that would last a while.
Like I was looking at the Selle SMP Extra but I'd like to get some more feedback

comfort is very important. I did a 75mi ride & couldn't feel my junk for 2 days.
Additionally, your user name bothers me.
