Well- after I got off work this afternoon I called the guy I have been dealing with (Dave O- Vice President of Stores) just to confirm a few things and then I headed into the shop to write a check and size up for a few of the accessories. Well the store is out of stumpys, except for one 15" ladies version. They checked some other stores and they only have 18" bikes, which I will try this weekend but I am looking more for a 19" or 21" (I'm 6'00" and 175#). So, it is back to negotiations, I don't really want to get the '06 b/c they only added 10mm of travel for an extra $100, so if it doesn't work, maybe I'll take a look at the '05 closeout FSR stumpy, but I don't know b/c I'm not a real big full suspension fan (simply for the reason that you don't get as good of components for the money), but if I can get a good deal...
I did ride around on the cannondale f600 a little, but I am pretty set on the stumpy. I'm pretty bummed, so back to the fridge for another beer
