Giant makes great bikes, and the Roam 3 is no exception. You get a lot for your money with Giant, and that would be a great bike, especially with the functional lock out front suspension, for when you don't want it. The 40mm tires will be quite comfy, and it's a great platform should you choose to add things like fenders, racks, etc.

It will make a great do it all bike.

That being said, make sure it fits, and you like how it rides and handles.
