Difficult to say what is best for you, the area you ride in what you want and need. Only think that unless there is serious hills I would go for a 5 speed SA if I had to buy one. I`ve got several 5 speed Torpedo and 7 speed Nexus hubs lying around so I Guess I would just use one of those.

Did a search on the 8 speed BNB linked to, hope you can read it (since you may not be a member): http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Geared...t=windows-1252 When Reading make sure you remember that old problems could be solved in New hubs.

Here is one five speed: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Geared...&charset=utf-8

And here another one: S-RF5(W) http://www.sturmey-archer.com/products/hubs/cid/4/id/64 . No search results for that one in the Yahoo Group but Sa is SA, should be safe. This is the one I would buy but may not be right for you.

Edit: "Shift" issue solved with Firefox.
