Thanks, the final result was certainly worth the effort. I have about 40 hours in cleaning, polishing, lubing, adjusting and of course, chasing errant ball bearings across the shop floor. I think I spent more time with chrome polish and bronze wool than everything else combined. The paint was in pretty good shape and I only had to repaint parts of the chain guard. Rustoleum semi-gloss black is a pretty good match, btw.
The date code on the hub is 74, the serial number on the frame is for a '75.
