2 huge wedge-tail eagles eating a wombat, which had been hit by a vehicle. They had hauled the carcass off the road and into the field.
Sadly, in a way, just a bit further on there was a baby wombat. There's a good chance the dead wombat was its mother. But happily it was alive and chances are it was too big to attract the attention of the eagles.
Circle of life, I guess.

There are a few places in HK where there are great big troops of monkeys alongside (and crossing) the roads. A couple of guys say they've seen some big adult monkeys stand tall and stop/direct the car traffic to allow the females and young monkeys to cross the road.
