I hate cyclists who ride on the wrong side of the street, especially in a narrow shoulder or bike lane. Sometimes they even do this at night in "stealth mode".

Do they think I will swerve into overtaking traffic to avoid them? No. I will stay my course and either they will swerve or I will crash into them. I would rather collide with another cyclist than hit a car!

i think these riders are mostly paranoid about being rear ended. Being hit from the side or head-on is actually more common, and also will often produce worse injuries due to the speed differential. And being visible and predictable is safer than riding in stealth mode!
