Absolutely, Sagan was easily the best sprinter there. Degenkolb has to be disappointed that there's that much of a gap between him and the real top sprinters though.
Before Sagan took off, it looked as though there were going to be a lot of riders in the hunt for a win, but it became quickly apparent they were all posing as sprinters once Sagan took off! The difference in speed was startling. Much was made of Degenkolb being a world class sprinter, but he was really outclassed today. But at least he can climb and be in the bunch at the end of a stage like this, unlike Cav, Kittel and Greipel.
