I had the chance to try out the Atozi's last night on a quick test ride. Rather than use on both wheels I just put a couple on the front wheel ( and used the Rimfires on the rear ). I decided not to add anything to secure them. I figured if one fell off the front I should see it. I have to admit I am pretty impressed. When I got back I carefully checked them to see if they still looked secure. I didn't see any changes but then again I didn't hit any big bumps. I also tried sliding one of the Atozi's under my watch strap. That worked out as expected as well.
Compared to the Rimfires I think the Atozi's are brighter, at least with good batteries. The only question that remains now is how long the batteries will last. At least each one comes with extra batteries so that is something on the plus side.
Interestingly, when I started my ride last night it was already dark. As soon as I pulled out into the road a police car passed going the other way and slowed considerably. I turned my head around and noticed that they had pulled to the side of the road and stopped. I thought for sure they were going to come after me with my green Atozi's on my front wheel but I guess just a bit of paranoia on my part. At that point I turned around and decided to go right past them. Perhaps they just stopped to do other cop stuff...whatever. I like the green. I'll probably get another set of the green and then take the Rimfires off my wheels. With the Rimfires off my wheels I should be able to balance my wheels again.
