Really, I can't find anything about Francesco de Fano bicycles on the net. Has anybody ever heard for it?
Francesco de Fano was a cyclist who wasn't so good to be remebered, his best results in Giro are 47 and 50th place. Why would some bicycle brand dedicate their model to a cyclist like him? Maybe he owned his own brand?
My frameset has Gnutti BB and interesting internal cable routing for that time (after researching, I believe it is from 1950s)
Here are new photos, with the fork and the original fender with really interesting paintwork and "Francesco de Fano" decal.
