I'm partially through the cleaning, most of the paint chips touched up, and even touched up the DT decal. It's looking WAY better already. But since I put the wheels on it, I am noticing just how relaxed the geometry is. I can easily read the headbadge standing directly over the headset. I have a feeling this bike is going to be a treat to ride, with nice slow handling. Perfect for the leisurely Sunday ride it will be most likely used for, with the local vintage bike club.,,,,BD

Bummer though. I can't use the cranks off of the Viscount. I had forgotten that is has the straight (non tapered) spindle.
