65, 5'-11" 235 lbs. (I was nearly 300 in the early 90's)
I'm still rehabbing a broken tib & fib from last Oct.
I'd been having a lot of trouble with my foot & ankle swelling from the elastic on my sox & lacing up the shoe, so my miles weren't nearly anything to brag about.
A week ago I got SANDALS! (haven't worn sox since)
Did 40 last Wed & needed 3 recovery days. Did 30 Sun & Tue.
Plan to do about 10? (maybe more??) today, since the calves are actually a bit tight today. (that's good, because it means I was pushing harder than normal, which is usually limited by my emphysema)
Hope to do 40+ tomorrow.
Plan to do a 50.2 to set a personal best before the end of the month.
Having delusions of actually riding my age! Need to do the 50 first before I even consider that though.
All my rides are multiple shorter trips with about a 10 mile max per leg, and more typically 6-7 miles.
It's pretty flat where I live. Probably average about 13-14 for the first hour and decreases after that, down to 11 ish.
