During the season, on days I can't ride outside, I just do 20 minutes of high intensity and high cadence on the rollers. Low intensity and long spins during the off-season (also on the rollers). That plus some cross-training of either nordic skiing or yoga keeps me in decent cycling shape. Not sure if that helps at all.
