Believe it or not, I have seen some crazies riding bikes like these for transportation around Brooklyn. It's amazing what people will do to feel "cool."
It wouldn't really look much worse than some of the recumbent bikes we see around.
I have no right to "judge" recumbents, having never even straddled one, but they just look silly to me.
