Cable stop problem

OK gentlemen: I have a 2012 Kona Jake CX frame with an integrated rear cable stop for cantilever brakes. My Avid Shorty brakes feature a nicely machined barrel adjuster that is too fat for the frame cable stop hole. The hole measures 6.3MM whereas the barrel adjuster measures 6.8MM. I am sure the LBS will have something that can be made to work but it would be nice to get the right part. Are there any standards with these things? Suggestions? (Reaming out the cable stop can't possibly be the solution here right?) Thanks.
