Note that the Italians used either a rust-red or grey primer back in those days. Every SR I've seen with chipped paint betrays rust-red primer underneath. I note the small chip on your BB shell; what color is the primer? It's somewhat difficult to tell from the photo; heck, it may just be a reflection and not a chip at all.

Might we get a look at some other angles of your frame?
