The frame is a winner. I toured with a group this summer, and one guy rode a stock 1.2 (same frame) with 2 back panniers and the bike made it, wheelset and all with only adjustments and one new chain (and the stock tires!)

My thought would be to keep the cheaper (but still good) stuff that's already on the bike, especially if you ride a lot. Some of the lower end stuff seems to be more durable anyway. Save the money for the day you need to take it to the shop for something and slap down the cash more worry-free. : )
