I think it's an early 70's model, 72-74 or something like that, by the mid-70's they had Japanese cranks and VGT derailleurs. Is the Motobecane down tube lettering scripted or block letters? Head tube badge or decal? My brother had a '75 or '76, it was lavender with Japanese components and 1020 carbon steel tubing. I don't think they began using chrome moly tubing on GT's until the late 70's, although the 1020 frames were still decent.
