If so, I think the seller said his grandparents used them in a tour of France, not that one, The Tour du France, which probably means they are a non US model. Check the Francais catalogs. Yes. His mother in-law didn't want to haggle so I paid the asking price. They were her parents bikes and she didn't know the entire history, just that her father was a serious cyclist.

The mixte sure is and it's late 70's where this bike has pre 74 components.

It's a winter or spring project.

It appears that the frame has been repainted at some point. Maybe I'll discover markings when I get around to rebuilding it.
