Nah man, they are cool on every level and they work really well. For you weight weenies they are 50 grams lighter then Ultegra 6700 STI's and cost a lot less to. I see absolutely no negative to them after using them.
did a 70mi gravel race in July and saw several people riding retroshift. they all had nothing but positive things to say.
