Bikes: 86 Katakura Silk, 87 Prologue X2, 88 Cimarron LE, 1975 Sekai 4000 Professional, 73 Paramount, plus more

No road trip is complete without bringing home a bike or two. This time, its two plus a trainer.

The first is a 1996 Cannondale SR500 Silk Road. Not vintage or classic, but the market for Cannondales is great around here.

The second is a late 1980s Burley Duet Tandem. Looks great from a distance, up close, the frame tubes have quite a bit of surface rust. Nothing deep or troubling, but enough it will need a cleanup and repaint.

The Silk Road was on day FOUR of a garage sale, and the bike appeared in every ad.
