As an aside, I just triplized my mid 1970s Nervar 50.4 BCD cranks by drilling the big ring to accept a 32T granny. Turned out pretty sweet.
Thanks, Bob--I will take you up on your offer of the TA triplizer for use as a pattern sometime later this fall. I've actually been trying (albeit not all that hard) to find one for that purpose for a couple of months now. I'd only need to borrow it for a week or two.
