Jon,
I'll second Top on the 144 triplizer. I do think you will sell even more of these. I have both the TA and the Merz versions of the 144 if you need to borrow these for prototype designing. I also think there would be a market for the elusive 41T 144 ring and even a 43T or 44T 151 ring.
Let me know when you get your website going. We can cross reference each other's site.
As an aside, I just triplized my mid 1970s Nervar 50.4 BCD cranks by drilling the big ring to accept a 32T granny. Turned out pretty sweet.

Ooh - pics please. I have thought about doing that. What BCD for the 32T?

Hmmm, I have quite a few 151s. Not that uncommon if you're into the old stuff. Rings hard to find, but you can file the holes in the drive arm down to match Nuovo Record, though you're still stuck with a 44 inner.

I need to check the BCD.

My Web site is redclovercomponents.com. It's not functioning yet--I'm still working on making sure the whole e-commerce setup works as it's supposed to. I hope to actually be selling stuff by November 1.

I should mention that the granny is larger than 74BCD, which would have placed the holes IMO too close to the 50.4BCD holes.
I had a church member hand it off to a machinist in his company to do the work. The counter sinking was minimal so the chainring bolts do not sit as flush as normal, but I'm not complaining.
Jon, I'll be gald to send the TA Triplizer for the prototype. It looks better than the Merz, which does not use a 74BCD for the granny.

Thanks, Bob--I will take you up on your offer of the TA triplizer for use as a pattern sometime later this fall. I've actually been trying (albeit not all that hard) to find one for that purpose for a couple of months now. I'd only need to borrow it for a week or two.

Measured the granny I mounted on the Nervar big ring. It came out as an 86BCD, which is no longer made. I guess I need to now go on a search.
Here's a closeup of the mounting hardware and you can seen how nicely spaced the bolt holes came out. I'm guessing a 74BCD could be mounted, but it would push the holes close to the inner mounting holes. BTW, those inner bolts are the ones Velo Orange sells. While not looking anything like the original, hex bolts, they certainly are superior and easier to tighten.
