Thanks, It's a 2013 the bar tape is cheap pleather type material.
IIRC the Safari's were rigged with disc brakes for a year or two. My girlfriend picked one up, two years ago now (?) and it came as you described; disc hubs, tabs for disc cable routing, but equipped with V's.
