I once got paid, but I did not ride a bike whenever I wanted. I rode whenever the employer wanted. Regardless of weather conditions.

Like so many things, it looks like a blast. I guarantee you, you rapidly reach a point where you do not even want to say the word bike.

I know people who have gone long distance touring. And after a few days of nothing but riding say, "I have no idea how professional can do this day after day."

And riding ain't racing.
