Even if you don't like the Phillips for whatever reason, Cygolite makes a series of ExpiliOn lights that all have a self contained battery that while it is a proprietary battery they are user replaceable and you can buy more bats and swap batteries all you want. On Amazon their EpiliOn 800 is now only $107, but Amazon has a whole series of them; see:
