With all our diverse backgrounds some disagreement is inevitable and even welcome, because it can bring out facts and opinion that might not otherwise be shared so we all end up learning.
But to me there is a difference between disagreement even if witty or if it has a bit o' the devil in it, and plain mean snark. It is hard to respond to snark. Maybe we need a snark alert icon.
