This was my initial thought as I have an extra pair of road shoes with SPD SL. I would just need a "cheap set of PD R540 or similar to put them on the bike.

A couple of my bikes have rear racks, and I carry my gear in a Banjo Bros rack top bag when riding those bikes. You can't totally prevent wrinkling when carrying clothes to work, but I've found that rolling my shirts up makes them fit better and they don't seem to wrinkle as bad. Some commuters use panniers to carry their gear, but I don't need that much space since I leave so much clothing at work. I'm also fortunate in that we have a locker room with a shower, and a storage room where I can keep my spare clothes.
I'd love the idea of taking my clothes to work by car first but the issue is I don't have anywhere to store my clothes in. I'd have to pack a different dress shirt into the pannier every day. I'm afraid they might get wrinkled. I'm assuming there has to be a way to pack clothes without getting them wrinkly and stuff. I bought the panniers below
