It actually fits in a finely defined niche within my ever-growing collection. I currently own 3 SS bikes plus a combo SSFG bike, all of which are rather on the heavy side. I had actually thought about getting a small 650c Wabi Classic set up as a singlespeed, but didn't want to spend a lot of money just to have a dedicated lightweight SS bike. Even though this bike is not nearly as lightweight as the Wabi, it's still much lighter than my other SS bikes, and for only $169.95 it was really an easy choice for me. I do expect to ride it frequently, so it is a practical purchase IMO.
