Had two come into my clinic. The rear derailleur is shifted by a set of spinning weights. This means that there's more parts to go wrong,and more places for debris to get into to make things go wrong. It also means you have no control over the shifting;go faster,you upshift,go slower,you downshift. I could see this causing issues if you're trying to mash up a steep hill. Otherwise,they were just low spec comfort bikes.
