Got hit by a car at the start of my ride today.

Common sceanrio: Driver turning right into shopping center in front of me, doesn't check mirror, cuts me off. I had like a full 2 or 3 seconds where I knew I was going down, so I rolled off the top of the hood no problem. No scratches or bruises even.

I made him pull in the lot so I could check the bike. Hoods turned inward, stem/bars slightly off center, scuffed tape... but no real damage. I wanted to keep riding and finish my tempo ride so I decided not to call the cops. I did, however, check his documents myself and record all of the pertinent contact, vehicle and insurance info.

No harm no foul this time I guess.
