but you better put a new saddle on it, without corner wear/tear. Ebay comps below, $400 shipped. Since Northern California is so prosperous, you may get $400. Report back after the sale please! Good luck.

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it.

There is a small scuff, but no tear. I think it must have rubbed up against a dirty wall. I was able to wipe away most of what you see in the photo.
Btw, that ebay listing is curious. It appears to be a '84 model, however, I don't see the grub screw on the back of the seat tube. No seat binder bolt, so I'm guessing the bike has some kind of a replacement quill seat post. Wonky brake cables. Also looks like a replacement fork? Fork crown is wrong, and the clear border on the fork decal looks wrong.
Thanks again for all the input. Just
listed for $395. Truth be told, I like fixing bikes more than dealing with CL riffraff. I'd rather get the bike out the door quickly, so I don't try to get max dollar. I've sold about a dozen bikes on CL. With one exception (I told the buyer the bike was too small for her), the bike was sold at or near my full asking price to the first person to test ride the bike. I'll report back when sold.
