Yes, plenty. But not having the in-tube guide is not usually an issue - just need a few tricks. ball-chain, or vacuum/air compressor with a string are among the methods used to set the path to get the cable & housing back out the exit hole. I had lots of fun with the Motta pictured above, though. The biggest issue was because I had chosen index shifting. I started off running a bare cable through the DT and chainstay, and the shifting constantly went out of adjustment. My final solution was to run housing inside the DT/CS, and this complicated the cable installation procedure.
