Well, I can't say I do distance riding, Gomango. But good point about the black. They come in lighter colors too. The Brentwood does have vent holes in it. The other helmet I bought…just because they were so damed on sale, was the Baker, I think. Molded in visor, and no vents. I like the Brentwood better. When I bought my Brentwood it had the visor liner attached. But I bought a summer liner as I found the visor sort of limited visibility with head down and pumping hard. Not that I pump that hard anymore.
The liners seem to be a bit hard to find online for some reason. I mean, they're available, but I just had my LBS order me two summer liners. They were happy to stick them on an a big order and charged me no freight.
