Is it? I have a 22lb. Folder and a 27.5lb. Mini velo and I think the heavier one is better..........although manufacturers seem to think a few grams difference should mean hundreds of dollars.

Now added frame rigidity, no added articulation to fail or cause play, a well supported steerer/stem, and fewer geometry compromises make a mini velo an attractive option in my opinion as a compact bike if you don't need an ultra compact fold. I love my folder too I just cant let loose on it the way I can on my mini velo.
