Re: Performance - I just think you could do better spending ~$700 there on a new bike than $550-600 on that older, alloy Roubaix. Don't turn your nose up at 4500 or 4600 Tiagra. Even the latest 3500 Sora is pretty decent. Sure, 105 and Ultegra are nicer. But the stuff from 8 years ago doesn't trump newer groups that are a notch or two down. For example, I think you'd be overpaying for old 105 with that Roubaix.
