1988 Schwinn Premis for a Short Rider

So I know there's a few threads out there about the Premis, but wondering if you guys can help me figure out if this potential Craigslist buy is worth it.

I found a completely stock (according to seller) '88 Schwinn Premis for $300. It appears to be in really good shape, but I haven't seen it in person. Some of the other threads I've checked out seem to suggest that many of you wouldn't pay that much for this bike, but a couple things to keep in mind - I'm in Minneapolis, so there's a pretty good market for road bikes. Second - I'm only 5'2", and there are very, very few quality bikes that pop up in my size. So my options are limited.

I'm currently riding an '85 Fuji that I converted to a SS as my only bike, and I'm thinking some gears would be nice. With all that in mind, does this seem like a good purchase? I'm attaching the craigslist post and the pictures for reference.
