I'm in China at the moment and I think these guys have all of us beat by at least an order of magnitude. Actually, most of the taxis are VW sedans with 500k km on the clock.

The number of e-bikes and e-scooters is staggering, especially in urban areas where chargers are everywhere for 10 RMB. Never seen so many silent scooters. The drawback is that they often don't use the lights at night because it drains the battery :-/
